In class
Rosining, then a slow down-bow on the A string. The bow stays between the bridge and the fingerboard, on one string. A scratch means less weight, not more speed.

- Keep the bow on one string
- Use a slow down-bow and a slow up-bow
- Stop when it scratches and lighten the arm
